Memories: Lost Soul
MEMORIES was a short metroidvania style game I made in a week, simply to get a project done. In chapter one, you played as Lilac, a girl who was looking for someone. . . someone named Shamrock, who she hadn't seen in a long time.
And now, it's so much more.
In MEMORIES: Lost Soul (Chapter 2), you play as Shamrock, who's. . . Dead? Alive or not, she has to make sure Lilac is okay. Where the first chapter had Lilac gaining abilities to grow her moveset, Shamrock will have to collect different seeds, which she can grow & use for puzzles and platforms through her journey. Just as Lilac was for her, Shamrock is determined to find Lilac, and who knows? She may find help along the way. . .
NOTE: Click on the arrow in the bottom right of the title screen to play the Second chapter.
FEATURES:
- 170+ rooms to explore
- A playtime of around 30 - 60 minutes
- Unique plant mechanics
- ~~~~ words
- A fair amount of collectibles
- A new story with perhaps unexpected events.
- A new Speed Run timer option, for those who wanna play FAST!
So if you're bored, or looking for something quick to play, why not give MEMORIES: Lost Soul a try?
[NOTES]
The story has been expanded and is now displayed through dialogue and fleshed out cutscenes. I would also recommend playing the first chapter again (or for the first time), as it's included with this chapter and I've improved it and changed some of the gameplay. As you may (or may not) have suspected, there will be one more chapter. No spoilers, but I'll tell you this. The song in the credits has a clue to the events of the next chapter. Once again, have a lovely day!

i enjoyed this!
I'm glad! Just recently updated it, so if you wanna try that out go ahead :] tried to fix some of the lag, as well as make the Ui a bit nicer. I also made jumps and springs more consistent, as that was a pretty big issue before. Hope you enjoy again someday!
