Passing Through - Definitive Edition
It's time to head home, you should take this sword with you. But, use it carefully...
Passing Through was a game I made in two weeks about a year ago for the Winter 2024 Flowjam. Now, a year later, I decided to remake it with all of the things I didn't have the time / skill to do during the jam. This is a relatively short game, but there's a few endings to go for, with different bosses to fight. I hope you enjoy!

Really nice work! A serious upgrade from the original game jam version, I'm glad you decided to publish a definitive edition that's closer to your original vision.

I killed absolutely everything, fought all three bosses, and still only got a neutral ending. What's a demon gotta do for the evil ending?
There wasn't really a neutral ending either. It just boots you back to the load screen.
sometimes its hard to find all the little bugs, they like to hide away sneakily >:] the glowy guys in the cave are also bugs, and the vines are plants.
also yeah the "endings" really only show on the title menu, though the content is different for each
I could not press X and Z to sprint AND jump at the same time, the game felt weird because of that and it was hard to play the game.
I also did not really like the fact that when you lose to the bosses, you go all the way back to the beginning of the "cave".
Except for that, the game is awesome!
i also figured out that when you beat the 2 bosses on a "neutral" run, you dont get an ending
i think some computers don't allow certain key combinations, for whatever reason
sorry it caused problems, but i can't really plan for / fix that :[
oh yeah, that's true... i know that chromebooks have a problem like that
